Is there a MAC version for Song Surgeon? |

No there is currently no MAC version available. However, we are working on a web-based version of the software that would be compatible with MACs.

Does Song Surgeon Play MP4 files? |

Yes, Song Surgeon does play MP4 files. However, the MP4 files that are stored on an IPod or that you might buy via ITunes are protected or encrypted. These files cannot be opened by Song Surgeon. Moreover it is illegal to break this encryption. However, there is a legal way to get around this encryption and create mp3, wav or wma files that can be used by Song Surgeon. What File Formats Can Song Surgeon Open And Save? |

Song Surgeon can open a wide variety of formats, including mp1, mp2, mp3, mp4, aac, aif, ogg, wma, wav, and seveal others. After opening any of these file formats, Song Surgeon can save the file as an mp3, mp4, wav, or wma file.

Does it matter what browser I use? |

No. Song Surgeon is a stand-alone application and is not browser dependent.

How many computers can I install this program on? |

Your purchase of Song Surgeon allows you to install this on two (2) different computers. To install on the second computer, you will need to contact us via the help desk, and tell us that's what you'd like to do, so we can set up a second registration file in our database.

Who is eligible for a FREE upgrade to Version 2.0? |

If you purchased Song Surgeon within six months of the launch date of Version 2.0 (10/14/08) OR you purchased the Upgrade protection, you will be able to upgrade to Version 2.0 at no cost. If you are an existing customer, but do not meet either of these criteria, then you will be able to upgrade at a substantially reduced cost over the current price being charged to new purchasers.
