Once the installer finishes, go to your Applications folder and you will find a Song Surgeon icon for opening the program. When you open the program, you will select the option to run in the Demo or Trial mode.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are seeing an increasing problem with antivirus programs blocking the download and installation of our software.

If you encounter problems downloading or installing you may need to do the following:

1. Temporarily disable your antivirus.

2. If you are using Microsoft Edge or get see an error from SmartScreen, disable it

3. If this link is NOT clickable, copy it and paste it into your browser.

Our software is malware and virus tested and it is digitally signed, so it is safe for you to use.

Instructions:
After downloading and installing, on first run, you will see a window with two options: I am a Customer OR Run in Demo. Choose Run in Demo. A fully functional Pro model of Song Surgeon will open and you will have 4 hours of run time to use the application. If you are not using it, make sure you close the application, to preserve the remaining time left in the demo.

For MAC Users

VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

Mac OSx has many built in safety features which may require configuration in order for Song Surgeon 6 to run correctly. On first run, after installing the program, you should be prompted to execute these permissions. However, if Song Surgeon doesn’t seem to be running correctly, then you can and should check these manually. The link below walks you through the necessary configurations on your Mac.

Audio Stream Capture Configuration

In addition to these general configurations referenced above, the use of Song Surgeon’s Audio Stream Capture (ASC) module also requires configuration the first time it is used. Again, most of this configuration should be done automatically and you simply need to follow any on-screen prompts but, if ASC is not working correctly then you should review the following configuration link.
